Mount Gilead Baptist Church was founded in 1824. As we celebrate more than 200 years of ministry, we not only look back on God’s blessings over many generations — we look forward to reaching future generations with the gospel. Rev. Dan & Robin Robinson

A shepherd who loves people.
Rev. Dan Robinson came to Mount Gilead in July of 2008 from Greenville, South Carolina. A native of Florida, Dan is a graduate of Florida State University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
When he isn’t preparing Bible studies or ministering in the community, Dan loves exploring the sights around Pittsboro and riding his bike through the beautiful countryside of Chatham County. He enjoys trying new recipes on the grill — and has been known to surprise folks with a tasty breakfast treat after worship on Sunday mornings.
The father of three adult children and four grandchildren, Dan and his wife Robin love to laugh, love to get to know new people, and love to work in their garden.

Mount Gilead was planted in 1824, and for more than two hundred years God has gathered His people here to worship, to grow, and to carry hope into our community.
